We live in a world of borders and cross those borders (un)consciously in our everyday lives. Borders are not necessarily situated at the edge of the nation-states, they are everywhere. With our mobilities (both physical and intellectual) we cross, negotiate, and engage with numerous borders in the spheres of art, culture, food, education, philosophy, performance, dance, friendship, and so much more.
