Revitalization and Preservation of Indigenous Knowledge
The main theme for The Exchange Spring 2022 semester is Revitalization and Preservation of Indigenous Knowledge. Within the scope of this theme during the Spring 2022 semester The Exchange will seek to amplify indigenous voices and knowledge from Hawaiʻi and beyond with a diverse range of speakers and performers.

We will educate EWC participants about individuals and groups leading cultural revitalization of indigenous knowledge and practices as well as explore the use of modern technology in cultural preservation. Further, The Exchange Spring 2022 will highlight indigenous groups currently underserved with respect to preservation of cultural practices and emphasize aspects of modern day cross-cultural exchange. We hope the exchange will introduce participants to new ideas and points of view which encourage seeking additional knowledge on event themes and continue their pursuit of knowledge.

The topics shared and events experienced within The Exchange should also spur additional conversation on the topics between participants while forming an appreciation of new methods of cultural preservation and revitalization.
